Astrology for the Soul July 9 2019
I'm going to take care and honor myself, My needs and fears and desires, While also patiently listening to, And working together with others. Well, we're heading into the eye of the eclipse season with the lunar eclipse coming next Tuesday. However, as I've mentioned before, this is no ordinary eclipse season when you've got Saturn, Pluto, Venus and Mercury involved (not to mention Mars square Uranus!). Saturn is the gatekeeper, and in this case he is checking to see that you have a ticket and that you have paid your dues to get into the cozy comfort of the Sun/Venus in Cancer north node. It's a time to clean up unfinished business, come to clarity through perseverance and persistently "walking our talk." This may be no small task as it involves owning that we are all wounded and going forth as a healer more than judge, of both ourselves and others. There may be a tendency to harden, build "impenetrable" walls (the quotes are to remind us that there is no such thing), cast out the scapegoat(s). So really the test is to stand firm with an open heart and bless the situation. Good luck! I need to really love myself, In order to go back, And heal the wounds of my personal past, To keep my life on track. Well, once again, the mantra speaks for itself and the aspects of these days. With Mercury stationing conjunct Mars in Leo, a sign denoting self acceptance and trining Chiron, the wounded masculine while in Aries, we can see this as an uncomfortable, but healing, time. It's not easy to go into what we consider our vulnerable weaknesses, and yet, it is where we find our greatest gold! The "outside" maybe demanding a lot of our attention, but I'm feeling that it is a test, only a test, of how much we love ourselves. Will we neglect our own personal processes and growth to meet the demands of "the Man," or will we be strong enough to draw, realize when we have given enough and refuse to be intimidated into giving more. I will not take for granted, All the gifts from Mother Earth, But do everything within my power, To heal and help her give birth. Let's welcome in this Eclipse Season occurring on the Cancer/Capricorn axis! Our first eclipse is a total Solar Eclipse happening Tuesday (in most places on earth) at 10 degrees Cancer. It is like a Super New Moon only more as I discuss in the report. As the mantra states, this is a time of birthing a whole new world and it is TENSE! Every birth is! BIG change! TONS of pressure (required)! Not a time to run even though it's scary to stay..... the list goes on and on of similarities between our world situation, personal situations, and the birth process. Not talked so much about in the report is Mercury moving into Leo and Mars following him on Monday. These two clear out of watery Cancer just before the Eclipse comes in. This will herald a shift from the watery emotional realms up into the firey, active realms of creativity. Sometimes I simply need to withdraw, From the madness going on, To create, protect, and hold the space, Of my peaceful, loving home. Yup! It's getting pretty bipolar crazy out there! Like a fish swimming in turbulent waters, we may need to put in some extra effort just to stay/maintain where we are and what we have! Like I said in the report, the roots of this Mars/Saturn opposition go back to April of last year. You can go back to that time to see what you let go of, what you decided for the future, and know that this is a testing time to bring those new goals into fruition. On top of that, not mentioned in the report, is that the roots of the Venus opposite Jupiter go back to mid January of this year. Maybe you started a new art project, love relationship, or other creative endeavor? Perhaps both of these oppositions occurring now point to both long term goals and short term projects coming to a head and wanting to manifest out in the external world? So yes, this can be challenging, but by pushing through and holding to our "guns" so to speak, we "establish" who we are and what we want in "our" world. May it be peaceful and loving and powerful! There are laws that govern life, Beyond the will of man, And the closer that I get to Source, The more I understand. The astrology of this week tells us of profound change both inner and outer. The waxing Moon traveling through Scorpio will illuminate for each of us and collectively what we may be overly emotionally attached to and what, through giving, sharing, or sacrifice, we can make sacred. As she then emerges into the fires of Sagittarius in all of her fullness we are reminded of the basic truth, not what we have been told, but what we inwardly know. As humans, we do not need to be told what is right and wrong, each of us inwardly knows. This is now the time to stay strong in our truth, speak it, assert it, and bring in the change that our home planet is calling out for. As we come home to ourselves we build safe space for all living beings. Here's to bringing more peace and harmony to yourself and your "family" through honest, heartfelt work. Whether the need to change and move, Comes from the inside or out, I need to go into the unknown, To see what it's all about. Oh me oh my, life would be so much smoother if it wasn't for all this evolution business. The thing is that we incarnate to evolve (our souls that is) and this is where it gets tricky. The soul is not only unconscious but is WAY bigger than the little conscious ego which is supposed to take orders from it but has a mind of it's own. However, the Soul will not be stopped so when the ego refuses to evolve the Soul has mysterious ways of making things happen. Hence, what we call "accidents, coincidences, surprises." Astrology knows better......... So this is a week to not only dream big, but follow through on some of the dreams that you've had in the past (last November/December) and manifest them into 3D reality. This may involve "trimming" them down a little, asking for help, involving other people, or going back to the drawing board, but hey, such is the life of the artist! Injoy! Speaking of Injoying! Just posted some pics of the sailboat we'll all be sailing on the last day of our retreat in Turkey next week! I'm here to blend the colors of light, With the dark from the depths below, Creating a masterpiece of my life, As I move and change and grow. Yup, we just may be feeling stretched between the light and the dark and the heights and the depths with this new Moon in Gemini Monday. Some say the twins have "one foot in heaven and the other in hell." That is to say that every coin has two sides and Gemini is the mystery school of seeing both. Sometimes that can be confusing and lead to indecision, other times it can open the mind to expanded realities. That new Moon coinciding with both the Mercury/Jupiter/Neptune T-square AND the Venus/Saturn/Pluto trine can open us up to creative solutions, lifestyles, and changes that lead to masterpieces! I need to watch the stories, I create for what I do, As the needs and fears that lie beneath, Are what make or break me and you. As we are confronted with more fake news, lying politicians, clergy, billionaires, scientists, movie stars and more, it's getting harder and harder to tell fact from fiction! That's where our feelings come in. I swear that the more we get in touch with, develop, listen to, and follow our feelings the more they will decipher the BS from the truth ...... without even needing to try. What's more is we can start practicing NOW! This weekend's Pisces Lilith/Moon square the Gemini Sun/Mercury may make our heads, imaginations, and mouths move faster than our hearts, soul, and conscience. The head in general processes way faster than our emotions and with aspects like these we can even expect that to increase. At the same time we've got Mars in Cancer squaring Chiron stirring up some deep feelings so it will be an interesting time observing how all that goes for you. Heads or Hearts? Let's hope the Heartmind kicks into align them both! Injoy!
